| X-Men on DVD |
Action-adventure films are aplenty this September with brain candy films such as X-Men: First Class, the latest in the Transformers saga (September 30), and Norse warrior Thor (September 13) just about ready to spin on the DVD player nearest you.
The much discussed Bridesmaids (September 20) seems sure to be a local favorite and for the early birds among you, Horrible Bosses is due for release in early October but now available for reserve.
Less Light
Other September DVD titles include Everything Must Go, Hanna, an indie award-winner, Meek's Cutoff, and Colors the the Mountain, a Film Movement title.
For Kids
For the little one's, try the Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss series, a live-action/puppet TV series that first aired in the 1990's. The films feature characters created by the late, great Dr. Seuss; the early films were produced by the late, great Muppeteer, Jim Henson.
For Gleeksters
We've had Glee's first season and early episodes of season 2 for a while. The rest of McKinley High School's New Direction's second choral season on DVD will be released tomorrow. If you haven't kept up with the episodes on TV or Hulu, see you soon.
