Early June deliveries brought us True Grit, based on the novel by Charles Portis, as seen through the eyes of Ethan and Joel Coen.  Compare and contrast with the earlier film starring Oscar winner John Wayne.

Rom-com fans may enjoy Just Go With It, an Adam Sandler/Jennifer Aniston remake (sort-of) of 1969's Cactus Flower, starring Walter Matthau and Goldie Hawn in her Oscar-winning role.  The corporate downsizing saga, The Company Men, and the relationship dramedy, Another Year, were also released on June 7.
